Facebook integrations prove popular at CES
Without even having to build any of its own devices, Facebook was everywhere at this week’s Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. As more products are designed to connect to the Internet, developers are integrating Facebook into everything from televisions to cameras to cars.

Facebook, Google Pair Up to Fight Anti-Piracy Law – The House Stop Online Piracy Act proposal has brought together Facebook, Google and other companies in an effort to prevent the passing of the law that companies say will place the onus of protecting against piracy on them. Facebook IPO Rumors Swirl – Business Insider reported that Facebook employees are reporting that CEO Mark Zuckerberg has said the IPO is coming soon, as early as next month.

Facebook’s Mobile App Platform to Include Seamless Login, Bookmarks, Requests
New Screenshots and functionality details of Facebook’s forthcoming HTML5 mobile site and application platform have emerged. Documentation of the updated mobile site and platform, externally referred to as Project Spartan, was briefly published to the Facebook Developers site last night, and TechCrunch recorded screenshots before Facebook took the pages down. We dug into the documentation and found many interesting facts about the mobile site that will impacts users and developers.

Deleted Data, Removed Friends, Log-In Record and More Available to European Facebook Users
Facebook offers users the Download Your Information tool to let them get a copy of all their content and connections, but we’ve now learned that the site is storing additional data about users not available in this export. This data includes deleted content, rejected friend requests, removed friends, a list of all of a user’s logins with timestamps and IP addresses, and several unfilled data fields that could pertain to unreleased products. European citizens can request for Facebook to send the a CD loaded with a .PDF of this data plus much of what’s available in Download Your Information independently or through a privacy organization called Europe vs.

Facebook for Android v1.6 Adds Video Uploading and Page Browsing
The latest version of the popular native Android mobile app, Facebook for Android v1.6 , lets users browse Page walls, upload videos to Facebook, and see more types of stories in the news feed. The app now matches Facebook for iPhone’s video capability, though it still has a much more limited interface for Pages. Facebook for Android has seen strong growth in the past month, even compared to other fast-growing official clients .

No iOS 5 Integration, No Credits Deal — The Facebook-Apple Relationship Cools
Until the launch of Ping, the music social network feature in iTunes, last fall, Apple looked like it was getting close with Facebook. After yesterday, though, the two companies have never looked more distant. Facebook is accepting applications from engineers to join a new desktop software team at its Seattle office. The responsibilities of the “Software Engineer, Desktop Software” position we noticed last week include creating Mac and/or Windows desktops apps and building server-side APIs.
